Grilled Shrimp and Pineapple Skewers

2 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
2 green onion stalks, chopped
1 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoons nutmeg
1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoons Great Value® Sugar
1/4 tablespoons Extra Special Olive Oil®
2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rum, spiced
1/2 oranges, juice and zest
1 lime, juice
500 grams medium-sized shrimp, clean, without head and tail
1 can Great Value® canned pineapple
1/4 red onions, in cubes
2 tablespoons Great Value® canola oil

For the marinade, blend all the ingredients until you obtain a smooth mixture. Set aside.
Assemble the skewers alternating the shrimp with the pieces of pineapple and onion on the skewers.
Marinate the skewers with the marinade for about 10 minutes.
Heat the oil in a grill pan or grill, and cook the skewers on both sides for about 10 minutes or until marked.
