Peanut-Style Shrimp

Try this delicious recipe for peanut-style shrimp, as it is very tasty and full of flavor thanks to the Herdez® Creamy Spicy Peanut Sauce, which not only gives the shrimp a spicy flavor but also fills them with taste with this peanut sauce version.

  • 1 cup Herdez® Creamy Spicy Peanut Sauce
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 800 grams medium-sized shrimp, peeled and cleaned
  • salt

  • 1/2 cups peanuts, cut in half, unsalted
  • 1 sprig parsley, for garnish
  • white rice

  • Mix the Herdez® Creamy Spicy Peanut Sauce with sour cream in a bowl until you achieve a homogeneous consistency. Set aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a pan, then add the onion and garlic and cook over medium heat. When these ingredients are slightly golden, it's time to add the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and cook for 5 minutes or until they change color.
  • Add the Herdez® Creamy Spicy Peanut Sauce mixed with sour cream to the pan with the shrimp, then stir with a spatula and cook for 5 more minutes. Set aside.
  • Toast the peanuts in a pan over low heat for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • Serve the peanut-style shrimp on a flat plate, garnish with toasted peanuts, a sprig of parsley, and accompany with white rice.
