Creamy Deviled Shrimp

Enjoy these creamy and delicious deviled shrimp that have the perfect combination of guajillo chili, árbol chili, and chipotle. Their spicy and creamy flavor will make you unable to stop eating them. Serve them with white rice. You will love them!

  • 3 tomatoes
  • 3 guajillo chiles, seedless
  • 7 árbol chiles, seedless
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle chile
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cups medium-sized shrimp, clean
  • salt and pepper

  • In a pot with hot water, cook the tomato with the guajillo chili and árbol chili for 20 minutes. Drain.
  • Blend the above with chipotle chili, garlic, and sour cream.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan and pour in the sauce, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 10 minutes.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the butter and cook the onion and garlic, add the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes or until they change color. Add the sauce and cook until slightly thickened. Season to your taste.
  • Serve on a plate and accompany with white rice.
