Creamy Devilish Shrimp

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 4 guajillo chiles, seedless
  • 7 árbol chiles, seedless
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle chile
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 cups shrimp, clean
  • salt and pepper
  • white rice, to accompany

  • In a saucepan with hot water, add the tomato, guajillo pepper, and árbol pepper, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Blend the above ingredients along with the chipotle pepper, garlic, and sour cream.
  • Heat the oil in a saucepan and pour in the sauce, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 10 minutes.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add the butter, onion, and garlic; sauté for 3 minutes, add the shrimp, cook for 2 minutes, add the sauce to the shrimp and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Serve on a plate and accompany with white rice.
