Shrimp Popcorn

  • 350 grams pink shrimp, precooked
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 250 grams flour
  • 10 grams pimentón
  • 1 tablespoon ground oregano
  • salt , to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • oil , for frying
  • chives, chopped
  • 5 milliliters Tabasco sauce

  • Mix breadcrumbs, flour, paprika, salt, pepper, and oregano in a deep plate.
  • In another plate, lightly beat the eggs and add a few drops of Tabasco sauce.
  • Dip the shrimp in the egg and then in the breading mixture.
  • In a fryer, heat oil and fry the shrimp until they are slightly browned.
  • Place on paper towels to remove excess grease and serve.
  • Serve in a deep plate and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
