Shrimp Soufflé

Delicious shrimp and cream cheese soufflé, this soufflé is one of my favorite recipes, you can make the same recipe with your preferred ingredient.

  • 1 package sliced bread , large white
  • 1 kilo shrimp, package
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 can red bell pepper
  • 1 package yellow cheese
  • 1 can light beer
  • unsalted butter
  • serrano chiles, canned, chopped to taste
  • olive oil

  • Fry the onion and bell pepper cut into small cubes in oil for 2 minutes, add the shrimp and chilies and fry for 3 minutes. Set aside.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, pour in the beer and gradually add the cheese slices until completely melted, remove from heat and set aside.
  • Remove the edges from the bread and place a layer in a buttered baking dish, add the shrimp stew and cover with the cheese sauce.
  • Bake for about 20 mins at 180ºC until the cheese is set. Turn off the oven and let it rest before serving.
  • Serve with lettuce salad.
