Shrimp Tostadas with Knorr® Cucumber Sauce

Shrimp Tostadas with Knorr® Cucumber Sauce are a traditional Mexican dish. The tostadas combine the crunchy texture of cucumber with the spicy flavor of shrimp.

  • 2 tablespoons Knorr ® shrimp bouillon
  • 1 cucumber, Peeled, seeded, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 450 grams pink shrimp, Peeled and cleaned
  • 2 cloves garlic, Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
  • 8 tostadas
  • 2 cups lettuce, Shrimp Tostadas
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into cubes

  • Mix the Hellmann's® Mayonnaise Dressing with the cucumber and 1 tablespoon of Knorr® Shrimp Broth.
  • In a skillet, heat the oil, add the garlic and lightly brown it, then add the shrimp, lime juice, hot sauce, and the remaining tablespoon of Knorr® Shrimp Broth. Mix and cook the shrimp until they turn pink and the liquids thicken slightly.
  • Serve on the tostadas adding the cucumber sauce, lettuce, and tomato.
