Tropical Roll

Delicious, sophisticated, and simple sushi roll perfect for a light and fresh appetizer ideal for special gatherings, with friends, or daytime parties during the summer season.

  • 1 cup surimi, in small pieces
  • 1 cup shrimp, cooked in small pieces
  • 150 grams Philadelphia® cream cheese
  • 1/2 cucumbers, julienne
  • 1/2 avocados, julienne
  • 4 slices mango, in thin strips
  • 4 seaweed
  • 1 cup carrot , grated
  • 1 cup rice, for sushi
  • vinegars
  • sugar
  • soy sauce
  • water
  • blacks sesame seeds
  • salmon, in thin slices (optional)
  • chile powder, (optional)

  • Cook the rice for 30 minutes on low heat.
  • Once cooked, season it with sugar and vinegar.
  • Place strips of mango, a layer of cream cheese, a bed of rice, then the seaweed, a layer of cream cheese, shrimp, surimi, cucumber, and avocado on the mat.
  • Roll and compact.
  • Cut the roll into slices that are not too thick or too thin.
