Calamari Rings

Try these delicious beer-battered calamari rings, as they are very easy to make and require few ingredients. Additionally, thanks to the utensils from Bed Bath & Beyond®, they will look spectacular.

  • 700 grams squid rings
  • 1 cup flour
  • 500 milliliters beer
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • lemon

  • Mix the flour with the beer, salt, pepper, and garlic powder using a whisk until completely combined and free of lumps.
  • Dip the calamari one by one into the flour and beer mixture, fully coating them. Then, in a deep skillet with hot oil, fry the calamari for 8 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels.
  • Serve the calamari rings on a board and accompany with yellow lemon.
