Stuffed Shrimp

Delicious marinated shrimp stuffed with Chihuahua cheese. Marinated in oyster sauce, lemon, soy sauce, and spices, then stuffed with Chihuahua cheese and wrapped in bacon. Its flavor is unique and perfect for enjoying with a nice white rice. Don’t miss out.

  • 1 kilo large shrimp
  • 1/2 kilos bacon
  • 1/2 kilos Chihuahua cheese
  • 1 canned bell pepper
  • 1/2 liters orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • lemon

  • Peel the shrimp, leaving the tail, split them along the back, and marinate in the soy and oyster sauces, spices, and lemon. Let them rest for 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  • After the time has passed, fill the shrimp along the back with shredded Chihuahua cheese and bell pepper, wrap them with bacon, and place them in a previously buttered baking dish (leaving the tail on the outside of the dish). Once all the shrimp are ready, add the orange juice and cover them with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for one hour. Uncover and let them brown for an additional 15 minutes.
