Tuna Pie

The recipe for tuna pie is very easy, quick, and delicious. The flavor of the tuna complemented by a variety of vegetables served with puff pastry. Try it, everyone will love it!

  • 30 grams capers
  • 3 cans tuna
  • 1 cup white onion, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato, chopped red
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cups olives, finely chopped
  • 4 pickled chiles, whole long
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 egg whites
  • puff pastry

  • Preheat the oven to 260º. Have the puff pastry ready, rolled out and placed in a pie pan greased with cooking spray.
  • In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil.
  • Add the bay leaves, olives, and capers to the mixture. Stir.
  • Add the completely drained tuna and the tomato.
  • Remove the bay leaves and add the whole chiles, stems removed. Cover (add salt and pepper to taste) and let it rest for a minute. When warm, stir the mixture with the egg whites.
  • Once our stew is ready, transfer it to the prepared dough. Cover with another layer of puff pastry. Be sure to make holes.
  • Brush with egg yolk. Place in the oven.
