A delicious Aztec cake filled with a mixture of tuna, poblano chili, onion, garlic, and tomato, topped with cheese. A simple recipe for a casual but tasty meal.
Chop the onion, garlic, and tomato into small cubes. Place the onion and garlic in a skillet; when they turn translucent, add the strips of poblano chili, the diced tomato, and the drained tuna. Cook for a few minutes and season with salt and pepper. Finally, incorporate the cream into the mixture.
The tortillas are dipped in oil and placed in the baking dish. The mixture is poured in, grated cheese is added, and the same process is repeated for each layer until finishing with a layer of tuna, cream, and grated cheese.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for approximately 20 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
