Breaded Potato Patties

Soft potato and tuna patties breaded. A delight to eat at home with a fresh salad to taste. You can accompany them with a little sauce or a few drops of lemon. Mmm delicious.

  • 5 potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • oil , for frying
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs, for breading

  • Boil the potatoes in 1.5 liters of water for approximately 45 minutes or until they are soft.
  • Once cooked, drain them and wait for them to cool a bit before peeling. Place the potatoes in a sturdy container and start mashing the potatoes until you form a puree.
  • Once the puree is made, add salt, the egg, a tablespoon of flour, and a tablespoon of breadcrumbs. Mix gently until the ingredients are combined and add the tuna.
  • Place some breadcrumbs on a plate. With a tablespoon, take some of the potato mixture, form small balls, and flatten them a bit.
  • Coat them in breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil. Once golden, place them on absorbent paper to remove excess grease.
