Oven Tuna

This recipe is very easy to make and full of flavor due to its rich texture. It’s a good option and provides a good amount of omega 3 and vitamin B, ideal for a meal.

  • 12 flour tortillas
  • 3 cans canned tuna in water
  • 1 can vegetables, mixed
  • 1/4 cups sour cream
  • 250 grams Oaxaca cheese
  • 4 tomatoes, toasted on a griddle
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 garlic, toasted
  • 1/2 onions, grilled
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 cube chicken bullion
  • pepper, to taste

  • Blend the tomatoes with garlic, onion, and water, strain, pour into a pot, and heat it, season with salt, pepper, and the broth, let it boil for 5 minutes. Flake the tuna with a fork, add the vegetables, and set aside.
  • Take the flour tortillas and spread enough cream to cover them. In a non-stick skillet, place a layer of the blended mixture, arrange a cream-covered tortilla on top, add the tuna, some strips of cheese, and drizzle more tomato sauce to moisten the center and edges of the tortilla.
  • Continue this way until you finish with the tortillas stacked on top of each other, and at the end, add enough cheese and pour the remaining sauce over, cover, and place it on very low heat, just to let the cheese gratin for about 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Let it rest for 3 minutes and cut it as if it were a cake.
