Open the cans of tuna and drain; set aside for later.
In a skillet, add olive oil to sauté the onion; when it changes color (approximately 3 to 5 minutes), it's time to add the diced tomato, all over medium heat.
When the tomatoes and onion begin to have the consistency of a paste, it's time to incorporate the drained tuna and stir to combine the flavors. Once done, it's time to add the olives and chilies.
Let it simmer for approximately 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld, adjusting seasoning with salt and pepper; we do this at this moment because the olives already have a bit of salt and when cooked, they release part of their flavor.
Cover and cook for three more minutes on low heat, and it's ready to serve.
