Tuna Croquettes with La Huerta Country Mix

  • 250 grams La Huerta® Mezcla Campesina
  • 3 cans tuna
  • 1/4 onions, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 lime, (juice)
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 5 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bullion
  • 1 cup salsa, tartar
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • Heat the La Huerta country mix in the microwave.
  • In a bowl, mix tuna, the country mix, chopped onion, egg, mayonnaise, mustard, and lemon juice. Incorporate everything very well.
  • Add the seasoning juice, Tabasco sauce, and chicken broth. Mix and season with salt and pepper.
  • Add ½ cup of breadcrumbs and mix.
  • Shape the croquettes and coat them with the remaining breadcrumbs.
  • Heat a medium skillet over medium heat with a little frying oil.
  • Fry the croquettes until they achieve a golden color.
  • Place the croquettes on absorbent paper.
  • Serve them with tartar sauce.
