Carrot and Chayote Puree

I present to you a delicious recipe for carrot and chayote puree. It is a recipe for babies who are just starting to eat vegetables. It is a very nutritious puree and very easy to prepare.

  • Wash and cut the vegetable into cubes
  • In a pot, place 1/2 cup of water along with the vegetable, bring it to a boil over high heat, then lower the flame and let it cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Then place the vegetable in the blender with 2 tablespoons of water and blend until it reaches the desired consistency. Let it cool and it's ready for the little one.
