Chick Truffles

I invite you to prepare these delicious truffles with your kids; they don't need an oven and everything can be done by hand.

  • 200 grams cream cheese
  • 2 pipes saltine crackers
  • 300 grams button mushrooms
  • 50 grams onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot
  • chervil
  • blacks sesame seeds

  • Wash the mushrooms and finely chop them along with the onion.
  • Blend or grind the mushrooms, onion, and crackers in a food processor. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Leave the cream cheese at room temperature for a few minutes and break it apart with a fork.
  • Mix the mushroom pâté and the cheese until a paste forms.
  • With wet hands, start forming large balls and smaller ones.
  • Cut small triangular pieces of carrot to make beaks and use a sharp knife to create tiny legs.
  • Place a large ball on a flat plate and put a smaller one on top. Use black sesame seeds as eyes and arrange the legs and beaks. Decorate with Chinese parsley.
