The recipe for chicken lollipops with Del Monte® Country Salad is a very tasty and fun preparation. Excellent for a children's party or for a lunch for the little ones at home. It's a snack shaped like a reindeer, which is perfect for your Christmas dinners.
Melt the butter in a skillet over low heat, add the onion, and when it becomes transparent, add the chicken. Fry until the chicken is golden.
Add the flour to the preparation (all at once) and mix immediately; once well incorporated, gradually add the milk. Season and let the preparation dry, stirring until a dough forms.
Pour this dough into a blender and blend, allow the preparation to cool and set aside.
Drain the Del Monte® Country Salad to remove all the liquid. Mix the salad with the previous preparation.
Shape balls the size of a ping-pong ball. Insert the sticks into the chicken balls, fry in hot oil, making sure they don't burn. Place the balls on paper to absorb the excess oil.
Decorate the fried balls with the pretzels, these will be the antlers. Use the onion to form the eyes and the peppers to form the nose.
