Fish Fingers with Lemon Sauce

A delicious dish that the whole family will love. The fish fingers are breaded with puffed rice instead of traditional breadcrumbs. The lemon sauce gives it a unique touch.

  • 500 grams white fish fillet
  • 1 1/2 cups rice cereal, puffed
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • salt , and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, (for the lemon sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt, (for the lemon sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice , (for the lemon sauce)
  • salt , to taste (for the lemon sauce)

  • Cut the fish into strips, cover, and refrigerate.
  • In a food processor, process the puffed rice cereal and the parmesan.
  • Transfer the mixture to a deep plate and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  • In another deep plate, place the flour.
  • Dip each fish strip first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the puffed cereal.
  • Heat the oil in a skillet and brown the fish strips for 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel.
  • Mix the ingredients for the lemon sauce and serve alongside the fish fingers.
