Gratinated Roll

Delicious baked roll, with pizza flavor. You can vary the filling according to what you like most, but I promise it tastes delicious with these ingredients.

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 6 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package tomato sauce, Italian style
  • 1/4 pounds pepperoni
  • 1 carrot , shredded girl
  • 1 pimentón, strip boy
  • 1 onion, strip girl
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

  • Cover the puff pastry (previously rolled out and in a circular shape) with tomato sauce, place a slice of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle the pepperoni to your liking on top of the cheese. On top of the pepperoni, sprinkle the carrot, bell pepper, and onion.
  • Roll up the dough and secure it with wooden toothpicks so it doesn’t open.
  • Brush each roll with a tablespoon of olive oil. Then, sprinkle each one with a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese.
  • Place parchment paper on a baking tray and lay the rolls on the paper. Bake until the dough is cooked (about 20 minutes).
