Hake and Pumpkin Cream for Baby

This hake and pumpkin cream is an excellent option for your baby’s first introduction to fish, with a delicate flavor and an ideal texture for little ones.

  • 1 fish fillet, type of hake or Nile white fish without skin and bones
  • 1 pumpkin, small
  • 1 green onion, small
  • 1/2 cups fish broth
  • 1 teaspoon flour, or cornstarch
  • extra virgin olive oil

  • Wash the pumpkin well and slice it thinly.
  • Wash the spring onion well and slice it thinly.
  • Place the oil in a pan and sauté the vegetables until they are slightly cooked.
  • Add the chopped hake or Nile white fish and let it cook.
  • Let it cook for 4 or 5 minutes. Set aside some pieces of fish that we will use later.
  • Separately dissolve the flour or cornstarch in the broth and add it to the pumpkin and hake, letting it cook for a few minutes until it thickens.
  • Put it in the blender and blend until all the ingredients are incorporated.
  • Let it cool and serve along with the pieces of fish that we set aside.
