  • In a deep bowl, place the ground meat. Break an egg and add it along with a bit of breadcrumbs and the spices.
  • Chop the parsley, onion, and garlic finely. Add them to the mixture and stir with a wooden spoon.
  • Take a scoop of the mixture with an ice cream scoop to ensure the burgers are the same size. Form a ball and flatten it until it is 5 cm wide, remembering that they will widen when cooked.
  • Put a little vegetable oil in a pan or grill, wait for it to heat up, and cook the burgers for about 5 minutes on each side.
  • Cut the rolls in half; you can spread mayonnaise, mustard, or whatever you like on each side.
  • Place a burger on each bun; it should fit the size of the roll. If it's too big, cut it with something round to shape it. Do the same with the cheese or make sure it doesn't stick out too much from the bun.
  • Chop the lettuce and place a layer underneath or in the middle of the burger, followed by the smallest possible slice of tomato.
  • Slice the pickles thinly. With a little ketchup, make eyes and a mouth.
  • If you want to make it more fun, serve it with the top bun off to the side so the happy faces on the pickles are visible.
