Lentil Puree

For children to grow healthy and strong, a varied and nutritious diet is essential. That’s why on this occasion we will prepare 3 baby purees. Additionally, lentils are rich in iron and calcium.

  • 500 milliliters water
  • 1/2 cups lentils
  • 1 teaspoon unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cups milk , breast milk or substitute

  • Rinse the lentils.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the water and lentils, bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat until very soft, then drain and set aside.
  • In a bowl, add the butter, lentils, and milk; mash with a fork until smooth or blend if you prefer.
  • Finally, serve in a small bowl or custard cup.
