Mortadella Sandwich

  • 2 slices white bread
  • mayonnaise
  • tomato
  • lettuce
  • 1 slice Manchego cheese
  • 2 slices mortadella
  • lettuce, for decoration

  • Spread mayonnaise on one slice of bread, add tomato, lettuce, manchego cheese, and a slice of mortadella. With the help of a round cutter, make a hole in the slice of bread that will be used to cover the sandwich.
  • Using the same cutter that was used for the bread, cut a circle of mortadella and with smaller cutters, cut smaller circles for the snout, then cut semicircles for the ears. Assemble the little pigs with the mortadella inside the hollow bread.
  • Decorate the little pigs with nori seaweed, place in the lunchbox, and accompany the mortadella sandwich with your favorite Danonino®.
