Nopal Salad

A delicious, healthy, and easy-to-prepare salad. It’s excellent food for your children's good nutrition, as it contains nopal and mango, foods rich in vitamins, fiber, and minerals.

  • 3 nopales
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 tomatoes
  • 1/4 cups queso fresco
  • 1 pinch oregano
  • 1/2 limes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 mango
  • 3 saltine crackers

  • Cut the nopales into strips.
  • Cook them in boiling water for 10 min., adding oregano, salt, and a little olive oil.
  • Drain the nopales and place them in a container.
  • Mix with the remaining olive oil, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
  • Dice the tomatoes, cilantro, and cheese.
  • Add the tomato, cilantro, and cheese to the nopales.
