Sweet Chicken and Sweet Potato Puree

Delicious sweet recipe to start giving chicken to the little ones, this delicious combination is not only nutritious but also tasty.

  • 5 grams vegetable oil, (1 tablespoon)
  • 50 grams onion, (½ cup) finely chopped
  • 140 grams boneless chicken breast, skinned and cut into pieces
  • 200 grams sweet potato, peeled and chopped
  • 350 milliliters chicken broth, no salt
  • 100 grams apple, (1 small piece) peeled, cored, and cut into pieces

  • Heat the oil in a skillet or pot and sauté the chopped onion until soft and translucent.
  • Add the chicken breast pieces and cook on all sides for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the chicken broth and the peeled sweet potato pieces to the skillet, when it starts to boil reduce to medium heat and cook for 10 more minutes.
  • Add the peeled and chopped apple, cook until the chicken is fully cooked and the sweet potato is tender, approximately 10 more minutes.
  • Blend all the ingredients with a little of the cooking broth until the puree is smooth and creamy.
