Tuna, Cream Cheese, and Potato Balls

These tuna croquettes are ideal for kids, as they are very nutritious, and the combination of cream cheese and potato will make them unaware that it contains tuna.

  • 1 stick cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 can canned tuna in water, drained
  • 2 potatoes, large, cooked, peeled, and mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cups fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 cup corn oil
  • 1 bag breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cups flour

  • Mix the potatoes with the tuna until completely integrated.
  • Add 1/2 bar of cream cheese with the cornstarch, and add to the previous mixture.
  • Beat the parsley with the egg until well combined.
  • Cut the remaining cream cheese into small cubes and fill the croquettes.
  • Coat the croquettes in flour, egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
  • In hot oil, fry the croquettes until golden brown on both sides.
