  • 600 grams white button mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons fresh ginger, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 10 cloves shallot , chopped
  • 1/3 cups peppermint, fresh chopped
  • 1/3 cups parsley , fresh chopped
  • salt
  • sesame seeds, for garnish

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • In a small bowl, mix the sesame oil with the garlic, ginger, and soy sauce. Toss the mushrooms with this dressing.
  • Place the mushrooms on a baking tray and season with salt.
  • Bake the mushrooms for 30 minutes until well cooked and glazed.
  • In another baking tray, place the shallots and season them with a little sesame oil and salt. Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Combine the mushrooms and shallots in a bowl and add the mint, parsley, and sesame seeds. Mix and serve.
