  • 10 nopales
  • 5 slices panela cheese
  • 2 tomatoes, grilled
  • 1/2 onions, grilled
  • 5 morita chiles, grilled
  • 1 garlic clove
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • oil
  • cilantro

  • Add the onion, garlic, and coarse salt to a mortar and grind until you get a paste. Then, add the chili and continue grinding. Finally, incorporate the tomato and grind a little more. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Brush the cactus paddles with oil and add oregano. Grill on high heat until ready on both sides. Repeat the process with the cheese.
  • Place a cactus paddle, the cheese, and another cactus paddle on top. Finally, add salsa and garnish with cilantro leaves.
