Chicken Patties with Ricotta

  • 600 grams chicken, ground
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cups oats
  • 1 cup requesón
  • cooking spray
  • 5 tomatillos
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 serrano chiles
  • 1/4 onions
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 allspice berries
  • 1/4 bunches cilantro
  • cilantro leaves, for garnish

  • In a bowl, mix the ground chicken, onion, garlic, mustard, oregano, cumin, egg, ground oats, and ricotta, and mix until all ingredients are integrated.
  • With the help of your hands, form patties and cook in a skillet with cooking spray for 15 minutes until golden brown. Set aside.
  • For the sauce, boil the tomatoes, the tomato, the chiles, and the onion with salt. Blend with the garlic, allspice, and cilantro.
  • Cook the sauce for 15 minutes, adjust the seasoning.
  • Serve the patties with the sauce, garnish with cilantro, and enjoy.
