Mexican Chicken and Cheese Flautas

200 grams double cream cheese
salt , to taste
16 corn tortillas

Place the chicken, onion, and bay leaf in a pot with water. Bring to a boil and let cook for 20 minutes.
Remove the chicken and let it cool slightly. Then, shred it with the help of a fork. You will obtain shreds of a uniform size.
In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the double cream cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat the tortillas on both sides in a dry skillet.
Fill with the chicken and cheese mixture and roll them up. Secure them with two toothpicks.
Fry them in hot oil until golden brown on all sides.
