Pizza Margherita with Cauliflower Bits Dough

  • 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 2 tomatoes, in moderately thick slices

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • For the dough, in a bowl place the Eva® cauliflower bits and dehydrate in the microwave for 4 to 6 minutes on maximum power. Mix the cauliflower with the egg, salt, pepper, and flour. Knead until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous dough.
  • On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, roll out the cauliflower dough with a rolling pin to form a circle. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove the cauliflower base and add the tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and tomato slices. Season with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and decorate with fresh basil leaves.
