2 cups water
1 pinch saffron, and salt to taste
1 cup rice
1 carrot , in slices
1/2 onions, chopped
1 cup button mushrooms, in sheets
1 clove garlic, mashed
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated

Pour the oil, saffron, and salt into a pot and wait for the water to boil before adding the vegetables and rice.
When there are 10 minutes left of cooking, add the mushrooms, keeping the heat low until the rice is cooked.
