Soy al Pastor

Delicious and nutritious dish based on soy, once you try it, you will be surprised by its flavor, as it is very similar to pork. The mirasol chili and spices give the classic al pastor flavor to the preparation. This recipe will delight vegetarian people.

  • 750 grams soy, processed
  • 400 grams mirasol chili pepper
  • 1/2 pineapples
  • salt, to taste
  • corn oil, necessary amount
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • fresh cilantro, necessary amount
  • 1 bunch aromatic herbs
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups pineapple juice

  • In a pot with water, cook the soy for 10 to 15 minutes along with the mirasol chiles and a pinch of salt.
  • Chop the pineapple and onion into small cubes, then fry them in a pan along with the garlic.
  • Grind the mirasol chiles, strain the paste, and pour it over the onion and pineapple.
  • Strain the soy, pour it over the pineapple and onion. Allow the preparation to come to a boil; once this happens, turn off the heat.
  • Season the preparation.
