Swiss Chard Patties in Tomato Sauce

  • 1 bunch chard
  • 8 eggs
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic

  • Wash and disinfect the Swiss chard well and drain the excess water.
  • Mix the eggs very well with salt and pepper (you can also do it at the turrón point by separating the egg whites from the yolks).
  • Incorporate the Swiss chard into the beaten eggs and use a spoon to form patties. Fry on both sides and let drain on paper towels.
  • Blend the tomato, onion, and garlic. Place the ingredients in the blender and blend until everything is well incorporated. Strain the sauce and return it to the pot. Season with salt and pepper. You can add a little water if needed.
  • When the tomato sauce is boiling, add the patties and let cook for 2 minutes.
