Whole Grain Cookies

These whole grain cookies are delicious and very nutritious since using dark chocolate provides the benefits of chocolate without too much fat, just like using whole grain flour and low-calorie sugar.

  • 1 cup wheat flour, whole grain
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 180 grams unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3/4 cups calorie-free sugar
  • 3/4 cups raw sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 3/4 cups dark chocolate chips, (dark)
  • 3/4 cups nut , chopped
  • 3/4 cups dried cranberries
  • 1 cup oats

  • Beat the butter with the sugars until fluffy.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flours with the salt and baking soda. Add to the mixture while beating on low speed.
  • Remove the mixture from the mixer and continue mixing with a wooden spatula or spoon. Add the oats, chocolate, nuts, and blueberries and mix.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°.
  • Prepare one or two baking sheets with a sheet of parchment paper.
  • Using a spoon, place small balls of the mixture on the baking sheet about 3 cm apart, as they will spread.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Let cool and serve.
