Zucchini Burgers with Greek Style Yogurt

  • 2/3 cups FAGE® Total 0% greek style yogurt
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 1/2 shallots, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 serrano chile, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, minced
  • 1/4 tablespoons salt
  • ground peppers

  • Grate the zucchini and squeeze out the moisture with your hand.
  • Place in a bowl. Chop and fry the shallots and onions in hot oil until they are translucent.
  • Add the green chili and remove from heat. Add the shallots, onion, and chili to the bowl with the zucchini. Mix and add the breadcrumbs, beaten egg, cheddar cheese, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix well with a fork. Form the burgers with your hands, lightly pressing them.
  • Fry the little burgers in olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat, turning them a couple of times until they are lightly golden and crispy on the outside.
  • Serve with FAGE® Total 0% Greek Style Yogurt.
