  • In a bowl, mix the corn dough, beans, wheat flour, milk, baking soda, and salt until you obtain a homogeneous dough. Form balls and set aside.
  • Use a tortilla press to shape the gorditas: press until achieving a thickness of 3 mm. Set aside.
  • Heat enough oil in a skillet and fry the gorditas for 3 minutes or until they puff up. Drain on absorbent paper to remove excess oil and set aside.
  • Serve the gorditas and accompany with salsa and fresh cheese.
