  • 6 sausages, Frankfurt, smoked
  • 6 hot dog buns, hot
  • 1 cup mustard
  • 1/4 cups pickles, sweet, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, in crescent rolls
  • 6 pickles, sweet and sour, halved
  • salt, celery salt
  • 3 cups potato chips

  • Boil water in a saucepan, once the water starts bubbling, add the Frankfurt sausages and cook for 6 minutes over medium heat. Remove from heat, drain, and set aside.
  • Assemble your hot dog: cut the hot dog bun from one side without completely slicing it, place the boiled sausage, add mustard to taste, sweet pickle, onion, tomato, sweet pickle relish, and celery salt. Serve with French fries.
