  • 1 Organic Rumiano Monterey Jack Cheese®
  • 3 tablespoons Kirkland® Butter , for the filling
  • 1/2 cups leek, sliced, for the filling
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped, for the filling
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, for the filling
  • 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and shredded, for the filling
  • 1 cup sour cream, for the filling
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, for the filling
  • salt and pepper, for the filling
  • olive oil, for the filling
  • 2 potatoes, sliced
  • paprika
  • celery salt, for the potatoes

  • 500 grams puff pastry

  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the leek, parsley, and oregano. Add the chicken breast, season with salt and pepper, add the cream, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the potatoes. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a flat surface and place it in a pie or tart mold. Remove the excess pastry, add a layer of potatoes and cheese slices, the creamy chicken filling, and add more cheese. Cover with the remaining pastry, brush with egg, and bake at 180 °C for 50 minutes.
  • Let it cool and serve a slice of the chicken and cheese pie.
