Chicken Patties in Tomato Sauce

  • 1 jar Ground Tomatoes of Strong Origin®, 400 g presentation, 100% natural flavor
  • 1/4 onions, for the sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, for the sauce
  • salt, for the sauce
  • pepper, for the sauce
  • 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups potato, precooked, in small cubes
  • 1/2 cups parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 cups flour, for breading
  • 2 eggs, for breading
  • 1/4 cups milk, for breading
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs, for breading
  • vegetable oil, for frying the patties
  • nopal, cooked, shredded, for garnish

  • Blend the Tomates Molidos Del Fuerte Origen® with the onion, garlic, salt, and pepper for 5 minutes or until you obtain a smooth sauce. Then cook the sauce in a pot over medium heat for 10 minutes. Keep hot.
  • Mix the cooked chicken, onion, cooked potato, parsley, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl until fully combined. Then form patties with your clean hands and set aside.
  • Place the flour in a container. In another, mix the egg with the milk, and in another dish, place the breadcrumbs. Bread each of the patties by first coating them in flour, then dipping in the egg and milk mixture, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
  • Fry each of the patties in a deep pan with enough oil over medium heat for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove the chicken patties and drain on a plate with paper towels.
  • On a serving plate, place three chicken patties, top with the tomato sauce, and garnish with cooked cactus.
