BBQ Steaks with Tamarind and Fruit

Recipe made with beef steaks and seasoned with BBQ sauce, tamarind sauce with honey, and fruits such as mango, jicama, and peach. A different and delicious dish to share.

  • 8 beefsteaks
  • 1/2 cups Hunt´S ® original bbq sauce
  • 1 cup tamarind syrup
  • 1/2 cups honey 1/2 cups honey
  • 1 cup mango, chopped 1 cup mango, chopped
  • 1 cup jicama, chopped 1 cup jicama, chopped

  • In a skillet, place the oil and lightly fry the steaks with salt and pepper to seal them.
  • Next, place all the pieces in the skillet and add the tamarind syrup, Hunt's® Original BBQ Sauce, honey, and the cup of water. Let it boil a little and add the tablespoon of chicken broth.
  • Add the fruit, let it boil for about 10 more minutes, and once ready, you can serve it on a plate with some white rice.
