Honey BBQ Pork Chops with Pineapple

8 pork chops, (natural, not smoked)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
25 grams butter
1/2 onions, finely chopped
1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
5 chipotle chiles, chopped
1 can canned pineapple
2 cups Hunt´S ® honey bbq sauce
mashed potatoes, for serving
Preparation

Low
Rub olive oil on the chops and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
Preheat a grill or non-stick pan over high heat and cook the chops for 4 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
Melt the butter in another pan. Add the onion and cook over low heat for 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
Add the bell pepper and chipotle chili. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Strain the pineapple (reserving the syrup) and add it to the pan. Continue cooking and stirring for 5 minutes.
Pour the Hunt's ® Honey BBQ Sauce into the pan. Add salt and a bit of the pineapple syrup. Heat until reaching the desired consistency.
Add the chops and heat for 1 more minute before serving.
Serve with mashed potatoes on the side.
