Onion Steaks

  • 1 cube Knorr® tomato bouillon
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 12 scallions, with tail
  • 8 beefsteaks, (550 grams)
  • 1 tomato , chopped
  • 2 tomatillos, diced fresadilla
  • 2 cuaresmeño chiles, costeño or jalapeño in strips
  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • In a medium pot, heat the oil and fry the steaks, set them aside.
  • In the same pot, add the previously halved spring onions and the chopped tails in rings.
  • Add the chili and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the tomato and the fresadilla tomato until they soften and start to puree.
  • Add the Knorr® Tomato Seasoning cube and the water, dissolve.
  • Incorporate the steaks and cook for 8 more minutes.
