  • Preheat the oven to 250°C.
  • Cook the meat in a skillet with a little oil.
  • In another skillet, fry the onion, garlic, sweet pepper, capers, paprika with salt/seasoning, and oregano.
  • After frying the ingredients for 2 minutes, add the meat and finish cooking; finally, add the cup of sauce or tomato paste and enough salt or seasoning if needed.
  • Fry the bananas; the riper they are, the better the pasticho will turn out. Take 3 of the 6 eggs, beat them with a little salt/seasoning and oregano.
  • Once everything is ready, begin layering the pasticho; add the 3 previously beaten and seasoned eggs to the bottom of the cake mold, then add a layer of fried bananas, followed by a layer of grated white cheese, and then a layer of ham. Repeat the process until you reach about an inch from the top of the cake mold. Beat the remaining 3 eggs and spread them over the surface of the pasticho, then bake for about 20 to 30 minutes and enjoy.
