Melted Cheese with Mushrooms and Tree Chili

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups Jumbo Freshly by Eva® Mushroom, sliced
  • 2 árbol chiles, cut into small rings

  • 300 grams asadero cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon epazote, finely chopped
  • flour tortillas, for accompaniment
  • red salsa, for accompaniment

  • Heat the butter in a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic, onion, and chili. Sauté for 2 minutes and add the Jumbo Freshly by Eva® Mushrooms, season with salt, pepper, and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Add the shredded asadero cheese and bake for 10 minutes at 180 °C or until the cheese melts.
  • Serve the melted cheese with mushrooms in the same skillet, garnish with epazote, and accompany with flour tortillas and red salsa.
