  • 1 kilo pork loin
  • 1 kilo pork ribs
  • 1 cup orange juice 1 cup orange juice

  • Heat the lard in a pot over medium heat. Add the meat and cook for 10 minutes or until it changes color.
  • Incorporate the orange juice, evaporated milk, herbs, garlic, onion, and salt, and cook over medium heat for 1 hour. Strain and let cool.
  • Chop the carnitas into small pieces.
