Hummus Obela® and Cheese Flautas

We present to you a classic recipe from Mexican cuisine, cheese-filled flautas. This preparation has a slight twist that makes them even more delicious; the secret is the unmatched flavor of Hummus Obela®. The combination is perfect, thanks to the flavor of the tortilla, cheese, and hummus. And the best part is that they are baked, not fried.

  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 2/3 cups Obela® Hummus, Classic
  • 4 tablespoons Cotija cheese
  • cooking spray, necessary amount
  • 3 tablespoons low-fat cream
  • 1 cup Romaine lettuce, washed, disinfected, and sliced.
  • 1/4 onions, in julienne
  • 1 tomato, in small cubes
  • red hot sauces, to taste

  • Preheat your oven to 180ºC for 10 minutes.
  • Lightly heat the tortillas to prevent them from breaking and place them on your work surface. Spread Hummus Obela® Clásico and Cotija cheese on one end of each tortilla. Roll them up to form the flautas and secure with toothpicks.
  • Place them on a baking sheet, spray with a little cooking spray, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until crispy.
  • Serve the flautas straight from the oven and garnish with the remaining ingredients.
