Royal Baked Potato

Make a baked potato in the Regio style, but in a simpler way than the original.

  • 3 kilos potato 3 kilos potato
  • 1 kilo Cheez Whiz, nacho cheese
  • 2 kilos beef, to grill

  • Boil the potato; once this is done, we will make a puree, adding butter and salt to taste.
  • We will prepare the meat, either grilled or cooked, well-seasoned and cut into small pieces.
  • We will grate the manchego cheese or whichever you have chosen; we just need it to melt. Once grated, we will prepare the Cheese Whiz with a little milk or a bit of water, depending on everyone's taste (this step is just to ensure it is not too thick when putting it on the potato).
  • We will create little plates with aluminum for a good portion. We will try to make the little plate have 2 layers of aluminum to make it more resistant (the plates must be made of aluminum as they will be placed on a hot base).
  • Once we have the aluminum plates and the puree well prepared, we will fill the plates with the potato puree almost to the edge, leaving some space for the other ingredients.
  • Once the potato is on the plate we made, we will add about 2 or 3 tablespoons of Cheese Whiz, sprinkle grated manchego cheese on top so that it melts, and then add the cooked meat on top.
  • Finally, we will leave our filled dish for about 15 minutes on a griddle, grill, stove, or oven so that it cooks together and can be eaten warm.
